And that includes keeping the hammock safe from mice - especially when fall is upon us and it's time to put the hammock away safely so you can enjoy it again next summer. How do I know it was mice tampering with the hammock?

Close observers usually find small, black remains of the animals in the vicinity of the crime scene, if you will. Nibble spots are also possible. These look typically gnawed and frayed.

How do I best protect my hammock from mice?

It is best to roll up your hammock or hanging chair in autumn and store your everyday companion in a cupboard over the winter. On the other hand, never store our products in a basement or attic that is not mouse-proof. The garden shed is also not suitable for storage. What other animals can sometimes tamper with my hammock?

Customers have also brought us hammocks for repair that were gnawed by a raven, squirrel or dormouse. If the hammock is used outdoors and stays outside for days, this must be taken into account in any case.

My hammock was nibbled on a bit - can I still have it repaired?

We can repair the hammock up to a certain size of the hole - the limit is around 20 x 20 cm. It becomes more difficult when the cords have been nibbled on, because these carry the most weight. If there are bites here, it is almost impossible to repair the hammock or hammock chair.

How long does the repair take on average?

We usually estimate the repair time at two weeks. If we can finish it earlier, we will of course return your hammock to you immediately.
